This week we have started writing Persuasive texts. A Persuasive text is when you are writing to get someone to agree with your opinion. As a whole class we came up with reasons as to why animals should or shouldn’t be kept in zoos. We then voted on which way our argument will go. In the end the class voted that animals shouldn’t be kept in zoos. We then had to choose 3 arguments to support this. Mrs S was so impressed with our detailed, well explained arguments and even our rhetorical questions!

Kyan and Laylah got to take their writing up to the office to show Mrs McIlwraith because they did an outstanding job. Well done Kyan and Laylah, keep up the amazing effort!
